During my maternity leave, I really wanted to enjoy London. Turns out, it’s really hard if you don’t know where the convenient tube stations are.
I wanted to create a crowdsourced app helping carers to travel in the city.
About a month into thinking and working on my idea, CityMapper came up with almost exactly the same concept… Mine is therefore dormant at this time.
Helping some friends with their app development, I was tasked to think about how to create the best forum experience possible.
Hard task in an app:
- How many levels should be indented?
- Do you allow people to upvote?
- How many comments are shown upfront?
- What types of comments exist?

Working for my design degree, I made up an app for Whole Foods, that would help clients navigate the products on offer.
Each product had a grade and some explanations about its origins, its sustainability levels, and its general ethicality.
Interesting project for which I went through user research, design research, user journey mapping and app design.
I have the habit to draw meetings during meetings.
Helps me remember and is a fun handout to others if they want.
